Our client has multiple manufacturing, distribution, and commercial sites dispersed across Europe. Operating within the highly competitive consumer goods sector, they are recognized as a key player within their market, with a strong portfolio of well-established and innovative brands.

They seek a Director of Demand Planning (12-Month FTC) to lead and enhance their demand planning strategy across European markets, supporting/leading the SAP IBP migration.

The role is based in Zurich, Switzerland .

Responsibilities Director of Demand Planning (12 Month FTC):

• Lead and develop the European Demand Planning function to support business growth and improve forecast accuracy
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing demand planning team of 6+ professionals
• Lead the implementation, optimization, and ongoing use of SAP IBP to enhance planning capabilities
• Drive and manage the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) / Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process across the organization
• Coordinate demand planning activities across multiple regions and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Oversee demand forecasting, scenario planning, and performance tracking to support effective supply and inventory decisions

Desirable Requirements:

• 8-10 years’ experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, or Supply Chain Planning within a regional or multi-regional environment
• Proven experience leading S&OP or IBP processes in a complex organization
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP IBP and related planning systems
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred)
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
