Hardware Product Owner
We are seeking an experienced Agile Product Owner to drive the development of innovative medical devices. In this role, you will bridge the gap between product strategy and technical execution, ensuring that complex hardware solutions are delivered efficiently and in compliance with regulatory standards.
You will define the “what” and “why” of product development, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality, life-changing instruments.
Key Responsibilities

Product Vision & Strategy
Collaborate with product leadership to define and communicate a clear product vision, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders and the development team. -
Requirements Engineering
Translate high-level product needs into detailed, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. -
Backlog Management & Prioritization
Own, structure, and prioritize the product backlog to maximize value delivery and maintain alignment with project goals. -
Agile Execution
Work closely with engineering teams to estimate, plan, and deliver work packages in an agile environment (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, Kanban). -
Scope & Delivery Oversight
Ensure that deliverables meet the defined scope and Definition of Done (DoD), maintaining quality and regulatory compliance throughout the development lifecycle. -
Stakeholder Collaboration
Act as the central interface between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
Your Profile (Must-Have Qualifications)

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)

Proven experience as a Product Owner or Project Lead in a hardware-driven environment (ideally MedTech or Healthcare)

Strong systems engineering expertise, including defining and estimating complex work packages

Solid understanding of hardware development constraints (e.g., tooling, BOM, lead times)

Experience working with Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) in regulated environments

Strong negotiation skills and ability to protect team focus and priorities

Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders

Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, SAP, and Google Workspace

Fluency in English and German (written and spoken)
