IDMC Architect leads the successful implementation and usage of IDMC as an ecosystem across the Bank.

YOUR CHALLENGE

IDMC Architect is responsible for maintaining and further improving the platform, as well as onboarding and maintaining data sources in IDMC. They perform design and configuration workshops. They are expert resource for workflows, reports/dashboards, API connectors. In addition, they also provide best practice implementation guidance.

Standard Responsibilities:

• Interact with internal teams to develop and maintain standardized business data definitions, business rules and other business Meta Data attributes
• Build and maintain bank-wide data dictionary documenting key data elements across domains
• Establish data lineage from data consumption to authoritative data sources
• Monitor and ensure consistent use of IDMC
• Monitor consistent use of data operating processes through definition of metrics and standards
• Workflow definition and maintenance
• Maintain and evolve IDMC to fulfil user requirements, including defining workshops, onboarding new source systems, maintaining, and defining assets, etc.
• Provide trainings on IDMC to end-users

YOUR PROFILE

Education & Required Skills:

• Earned a university degree or equivalent, preferably in science, business informatics, banking or finance
• Several years of experience with IDMC and implementing it
• Knowledge of data governance and data management processes, policies and standards
• Strong understanding of enterprise data domains and data models
• Excellent business and IT stakeholder management skills
• Understanding of how Meta Data Management impacts business outcomes and ability to articulate benefit to business
• Groovy
• Rest API & JSON
• Python
• Experience in the financial industry, banking industry
• "Can do" attitude
• Strong at collaborating and influencing, building an effective stakeholder network across divisions and regions
• Comfortable in challenging the status quo and manage escalations on every level
• Great teammate, who is fun to work with and drives the change naturally
• Fluent in English, German would be an advantage
