As a
Indirect Procurement Manager
you will join the Indirect Procurement team in the cluster Corporate Services. Your sourcing activities will be focused but not limited to Professional Services/Consulting, HR services and Marketing & Communications. You actively contribute to the formulation, execution and evolution of procurement strategies related to locating, evaluating, contracting and maintaining the best sources of supply for services required by internal business partners while considering all aspects such as quality, value, performance, cost and the ability to respond quickly to changing supply requirements. You will lead the supplier selection and development process. In doing so, you will deliver ongoing and sustainable improvement on procurement cost in support of SR Technics’ growth objectives.
Your tasks
- Develop and execute procurement strategy to continuously reduce total cost of ownership and improve quality, standards and delivery performance of the services and products purchased
- Recommend the most appropriate and efficient method for formation of sourcing initiatives/agreements for SR Technics Switzerland from the analysis of spend, to the end-user activity and the marketplace
- Negotiate strategic sourcing agreements and any changes in supplier and vendor contracts in accordance with compliances, policies, rules and regulations
- Decide if recurring purchases are appropriate for strategic sourcing agreement/initiatives
- Apply negotiation skills to resolve contractual supplier and vendor disputes with an acceptable outcome for the parties by compliance, policies, rules and regulations
- Work collaboratively with the Procurement team in the development and formation of sustainable working principles in sourcing
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration or economics required
- +3 years of experience in Procurement, preferably in managing professional services / related categories
- Procurement education required, sourcing and contracting experience desired
- Good understanding of sustainable procurement practices
- Excellent project management skills, result and deadline orientated
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Language skills: German Level B2, English C1
