The infrastructure investment team of Swiss Life Asset Managers is investment adviser to 15 infrastructure funds, with total infrastructure assets under management of more than EUR 12bn. Since its inception in 2011, the team has successfully executed over 80 direct infrastructure investments. The mandate is focused on private equity investments in infrastructure assets in Europe and North America in the mid-cap market segments.
The infrastructure investment team is a young and growing unit with professionals from a variety of backgrounds, including private equity, M&A, strategy consulting and engineering. The entire dedicated infrastructure private equity team of Swiss Life Asset Managers consists of more than 70 professionals and is based in the heart of the Swiss financial capital, Zurich.
For the next cycle, we are looking for an Intern (f/m/d) available to join our dynamic team in March 2026
Responsibilities
- Supporting the investments team in the analysis, valuation & due diligence of infrastructure private equity investment opportunities in Europe and North America
- Assisting investment managers in writing investment memos and presentations, and attendance of executive investment committee meetings
- Providing desktop research into various infrastructure market, relevant sub-sectors and related areas
- Supporting investment managers in managing the portfolio of companies, including tracking of financial performance, valuation and strategic goals
Experience
- Recent graduate or currently pursuing university studies in finance, economics, business administration (preferably Master's degree) or have relevant experience in finance (M&A, Infrastructure fund), and/or the renewable energy sector
- Strong knowledge of finance and corporate finance
- Strong interest in infrastructure private equity
- Financial modelling experience and skills an advantage
- Ability to absorb and synthesise large quantities of information
- Good Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Fluent English is required. Proficiency in another European language is considered an asset (but not mandatory)
- Potential opportunity for a full-time analyst position after the internship
