Key Responsibilitites

• Design and lead the architecture of an enterprise-scale data platform using Azure and Snowflake, aligned with business and project goals
• Drive cloud transformation by migrating legacy on-prem systems to modern, high-performing cloud-based solutions
• Balance a strategic mindset with hands-on contribution to actively shape solutions for defined use cases
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, business stakeholders, and internal cloud teams to close technical gaps and deliver value
• Implement strong data governance and security standards while mentoring a young, diverse team and promoting a culture of ownership and best practices
• Ensure architectural alignment through meaningful contributions to the IT architecture board and staying current with emerging technologies

Your Skills and Mindset

• Academic degree in computer science, engineering or similar
• 5+ years of experience designing and operating cloud-based data platforms, ideally in consulting or finance-tech environments
• Demonstrated strength in building platforms from scratch and guiding teams through on-premises to cloud transformation journeys
• Hands-on expertise with Azure, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Terraform, Python, and DevOps tools
• Strong communication and leadership skills to align diverse stakeholders, resolve conflicts constructively, and mentor development teams by fostering growth, aligning opinions, and promoting best practices
• Business Fluent in English; German is a plus
