As part of a long-term commitment, we are seeking, on behalf of a modern and stable Swiss family attached to family values and a healthy, traditional lifestyle, a reliable and motivated person to assist the parents in caring for their three delightful children aged 3 to 8, as well as to contribute to the smooth running of the household through daily domestic tasks.

Representing the younger generation of families of Italian origin, the parents wish to employ a native Italian speaker who, in fulfilling her duties as childcare provider and housekeeper, will be able to transmit and keep alive the language, culture and traditions of their Italian roots.

According to the parents’ instructions, you will actively participate in the daily routines, focusing primarily on the safety, comfort and well-being of the children, while offering them quality time through reading and age-appropriate games. You will also be a valuable support by assisting the housemaid with certain tasks related to maintaining order and cleanliness in the home, as well as caring for the laundry and wardrobe. Naturally, you enjoy cooking and take pleasure in delighting the family with simple, balanced and tasty meals, prepared with love and generosity.

While carrying out the tasks entrusted to you throughout the day, you remain attentive to the dynamics of the household. Vigilant and considerate, you keep a watchful eye on unforeseen events and contribute to maintaining order, smooth functioning and harmony in the home, making yourself useful wherever necessary, while respecting the family’s habits and expectations.

Requirements

Ideal Profile: The ideal candidate is conscientious and warm, sociable and well-balanced, enjoys caring for young children and has prior experience in a similar role. Honest, discreet and loyal, with impeccable integrity, she will be able to establish a lasting relationship of trust and share the values of respect, responsibility and mutual support.

Essential Requirement: Candidates must be native Italian speakers and comfortable with dogs, including large guard dogs.

Terms of Employment

Start date: immediately or by agreement

Place of work: Zurich, city

Workload: 100% (42 hours per week) or at least 60%, with availability to provide additional hours if required

Working hours: Monday to Friday, according to weekly schedule

Days off: Saturday and Sunday

Salary: to be agreed individually, depending on the candidate’s training and professional experience

Duration: indefinite, with preference for a long-term commitment

Remuneration, holidays, social security coverage and other employment conditions will be governed by a contract in accordance with applicable federal and cantonal regulations.

Benefits

Accommodation: This position is offered without accommodation in the family home. However, should the selected candidate need to relocate to take up the position, the family can provide support through available rental housing solutions.
