As a
Occupational Safety Specialist
you will be part of the Global Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Team based at Zurich-Airport. You will be responsible to assist the business units and service centers to improve their occupational safety & health performance
Your tasks
- Carry out occupational safety & health audits and assessments to ensure compliance with safety and health standards and regulations and introduce improvements where needed
- Consult on occupational safety & health questions
- Defining internal work instructions
- Design and implement campaigns to promote sustainable occupational safety & health performance
- Investigate incidents, accidents, complaints and near misses
- Give internal safety & health training
- Coach and support the OSHE Representatives
- Liaise with government officials to ensure legal compliance
Your Profile
- Interest in the health & safety of the company’s employees
- ASGS specialist or expert (or equivalent accreditation)
- At least 3 years of related experience
- Good social, communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of ISO45001 standard
- Proficient in MS office application
- Proficiency (spoken and written) in German as well as English knowledge (Level B2 or higher)
