Join the Digital Business Transformation team at Bank Julius Baer in a dynamic role focused on enabling operational excellence through intelligent automation technologies. As a Process Automation Analyst, you will play a hands-on role in supporting the bank’s Ease of Doing Business programme by driving efficient, scalable solutions across critical business processes. Your work will directly contribute to reducing manual effort, improving service quality, and accelerating digital workflows using leading low-code platforms, robotic process automation (RPA), and process mining tools. In anticipation of evolving technology landscapes, including the emergence of Agentic AI, this role positions you at the forefront of integrating next-generation automation capabilities into core banking operations.YOUR CHALLENGE
Operate and administer the Flowable Citizen Development Platform by acting as the central point of contact for user community, channelling and prioritizing Bug Fixes & Feature enhancements
Develop, deploy, and maintain Flowable workflows in close collaboration with business teams
Provide first-line technical support and perform root-cause analysis for issues reported within the automation environment
Maintain comprehensive documentation, knowledge bases, and FAQs to ensure sustainability and user self-serviceability for the Flowable Citizen Developer Community
Be responsible of the change management and adoption of the Flowable Citizen Development Tool
Contribute to the end-to-end delivery of RPA solutions. From initial process documentation to test execution, deployment, and ongoing maintenance
Prepare and transform data for use in process mining initiatives and act as the Analyst designing dashboards, running simulations and investigating root cause analysis
Collaborate with senior analysts and business stakeholders to implement automation use cases that align with strategic priorities
Stay informed about advancements in automation and artificial intelligence, contributing ideas for how emerging concepts like Agentic AI could augment current capabilities
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; interest in finance or wealth management is advantageous
Initial experience with automation technologies (e.g., RPA - UiPath, Flowable, low-code/no-code platforms) or academic exposure to process optimisation methods
Familiarity with Wealth Management and core banking operations — such as client onboarding, compliance, or transaction processing — is an advantage, though not required; a keen interest in learning our business context is essential
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and structured problem-solving abilities
Familiar with process modelling concepts such as BPMN, CMMN
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with databases or enterprise systems such as SAP or ServiceNow (exposure preferred, not required)
Basic understanding of data formats (CSV, JSON, XML), data transformation and willingness to work with ETL-like tasks for process mining inputs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German is an asset
Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced transformation environment
Openness to exploring future-oriented concepts such as autonomous agents and AI-driven workflow orchestration
Strong communication skills to interact with multiple stakeholders from various business fields across the bank’s divisions
