The opportunity
Join our High Voltage Products Service team at Hitachi Energy, where we support generator circuit-breaker (GCB) systems and gas insulated switchgears (GIS) worldwide. As Project Manager Troubleshooting, you will lead complex service cases from initial inquiry to successful resolution, ensuring technical excellence and customer satisfaction.
How you’ll make an impact
Lead troubleshooting cases from customer inquiry to site completion (e.g. leakages, flashovers, overhauls)
Assemble and manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring timely execution of tasks to ensure the planned rectification schedule
Define and control project milestones, proactively resolving deviations
Act as primary customer contact, fostering trust through open communication
Manage contracts and support supplier selection for specialized components
Drive scope changes, revenue growth, and margin improvement while minimizing risks and costs in warranty cases
Provide regular project reporting and share improvement ideas with the team
Your background
Technical education in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, combined with commercial training
Minimum 3 years of experience in project management
Project management certification preferred
Business fluent in English; German is a plus
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proactive person, independent performer as well as a team player
Experience with SAP and GCB product knowledge is beneficial
