About the Role
Join our dynamic P&C Cashflow production team where you'll help drive financial accuracy and innovation in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment. You'll develop expertise in IFRS 17/9 reporting while contributing to meaningful improvements in our processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Quarterly reporting: Ensuring quality P&C cashflows and building understanding of IFRS and statutory figures with key stakeholders
- Process improvement: Driving automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy of recurring activities
- System enhancement: Collaborating with IT teams to test and implement change requests
- Cross-functional collaboration: Working with global teams to strengthen financial operations and contribute to strategic initiatives
- Innovation: Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting quality
About the Team
Our Global Finance Operations & Transformation (GFO&T) is the unit responsible for the accounting and reporting of accurate and consistent financial information for Swiss Re for external reporting and internal analysis facilitating strategic decision-making. This includes IFRS for Group as well as statutory financial information for all Swiss Re legal entities, including SST and Solvency II. GFO&T spearheads the transformation of Global Finance, streamlining it towards a simpler, more effective, forward-looking organisation.
You possess strong analytical skills with a keen interest in financial or actuarial concepts. You demonstrate strong personal accountability and are passionate about the (re)insurance business, economics, and financial markets. Your ability to see both the details and the bigger picture sets you apart.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Actuarial Science or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration
- A curious, flexible approach to problem-solving
- A proactive team player who contributes positively to team dynamics
- A strong interest in data and automation techniques
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
The base salary range for this position will be shared with you during the interview process.
