As a boutique consulting firm, we are currently seeking a Senior Consultant – Sourcing for the Market Data Category (80% - 100%) at our Zurich office.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic sourcing (RFx) initiatives for key clients
• Manage the identification, selection, and evaluation of suppliers, leveraging extensive industry expertise in the area of market data
• Directly negotiate contracts with vendors, optimizing terms and maximizing value for the organization (pricing models, usage rights, contract clauses)
• Craft comprehensive presentations, documentation, and reports to communicate strategic insights and recommendations effectively
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with organizational objectives
• Play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the sourcing department, driving continuous improvement and strengthening the market data offering
• Lead the implementation of sourcing tools and technologies to streamline processes and enhance efficiency

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent degree in a relevant field such as law, business, accounting, IT, engineering, or science
• At least 3 years of experience in consulting or strategic sourcing
• Proven sourcing experience in the market data category for acquiring, structuring, and negotiating contracts
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality results and driving business success
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Fluent in German (Swiss German preferred) and proficient in English
