Senior Group Internal Auditor Banking

Aufgaben

Planning and conducting group audits in various specialist areas, setting timetables and budgets in accordance with group audit standards, and organising ongoing cooperation with colleagues from the audit department / Identifying weaknesses and early detection of risks in business processes, and evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls for long-term risk reduction through ongoing optimisation of efficiency and security / Timely reporting of findings described concisely and succinctly to the Group Head of Internal Audit and occasional presentations to the Audit Committee / Monitoring the optimisation of findings until risks are minimised / Advising and, if necessary, training line managers on how to anticipate risks and developing recommendations for the further development of processes and structures in the departments / Establishing strong working relationships through ongoing exchange of information with the audited departments, interdisciplinary control groups and auditors / Monitoring trends in internal audit and the regulatory environment and assessing the possible impact on business processes and the audit plan / Supporting Group projects from an audit perspective.

Qualifikation

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Banking & Finance / CPA or CIA training / Professional experience in auditing banks or in internal auditing / Knowledge of data analytics / Good knowledge of a bank, its processes and investment products / Knowledge of regulatory requirements / Analytical, responsible personality with independent, audit-oriented thinking / Team-oriented with good communication skills and strong social skills / Willingness to learn quickly and keep up to date with relevant developments / Good knowledge of MS Office applications / German and English.
