We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Manager to join our agile ART within the GPS Platform Transformation delivery organization.

The successful candidate will provide test leadership and expertise, contributing to the development and implementation of a comprehensive test strategy and vision.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring quality governance, driving best testing practices, and supporting the development and maintenance of high-quality solutions.

Guided by high quality engagement paired with sense for pragmatism and business value; the candidate need to represent these values towards management inside and outside the department.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Provide quality governance in regards to test strategy and vision, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed

• Maintain the test strategy and support the teams in applying it and adapting it to individual team needs

• Support the teams in the implementation of efficient test management, using a test management tool (Xray) were beneficial

• Improve and manage the setup of existing and new testing environments, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and meet the needs of the organization and assure guidance for the use of the environments

• Apply Agile framework and QA methodology to ensure efficient and effective testing practices

• Increase overall quality maturity and collect metrics for transparency

• Identify possible quality improvements and support the corrections

• Coordinate and conduct E2E tests over multiple applications

• Work with testing communities and organize and nurse knowledge exchange within the quality community in GPS Platform Transformation

• Support change- and release management and provide leadership with information on overall product quality

• Support the implementation of the defined automation strategy and the use of GPS defined standards like, Tosca, Playwright and Selenium to improve efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts

YOUR PROFILE

• Proven work experience as a Test Manager in the financial industry

• Experience working in an Agile framework (including tools such as Jira, Confluence) and with QA methodologies

• Understanding of deployment pipelines and DevOps practices, such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

• Strong knowledge of test management, test planning and test control, including visualization of quality

• Experience with risk-based testing

• Familiarity with testing E2E workflows containing in-house developed applications and vendor-based applications

• Broad experience with different test management tools preferable with Xray

• Deeper knowledge of test automation frameworks, tools, and techniques

• Preferable Tosca, Playwright or Selenium

• Self-motivated, able and willing to work within many teams on different topics, this with a hands-on attitude to support and guide the teams

• Excellent people and communication skills. Open minded personality with strong problem-solving perspective

• Basic German knowledge. Fluent in English

• Experience with assessments is an advantage

Required education:

• University degree in computer science or business informatics, with in depth training in the testing and software areas

• Certified Test manager according to ISTQB

• Minimal 12 years work experience
