As a
Shopfloor Support (Waterspider)
you will play an essential role in maintaining high operational standards, supporting supervisors and technicians, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the shop.
Your tasks
- Support the daily operation of the LEAP/GTF Engine Shop by preparing materials and coordinating parts and assemblies according to production priorities
- Ensure timely and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing goods and documentation
- Assist the Supervisor with operational coordination and interface between production, logistics, and tool store
- Maintain a clean, well-organised work environment by applying 5S principles across all work areas
- Promote and ensure compliance with all Safety, Quality, and Compliance standards and company regulations
- Identify opportunities to optimise shop processes, improving efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness
- Actively contribute to Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives within the production area
Your Profile
- Completed technical or logistics apprenticeship (or equivalent professional experience)
- Valid Category B driving licence and forklift licence
- Accurate, reliable, and self-organised working style with a hands-on approach
- Willingness to work in shifts
- German skills (B1) and English skills (B2).
- Proactive team player with strong sense of responsibility and continuous improvement mindset
