Specialist Data Analytics / Audit

Aufgaben

As part of a team of specialists, responsible for providing data analytics and IT services to Group Internal Audit in order to identify or anticipate risks / Preparation of in-depth or rapid data analyses for the planning and execution of risk-based audits, or user interfaces that organize and present information in an easily readable format, often in real time, or the development of management reports for advanced analytical purposes / Responsible for transparency and quality in quantitative statements regarding master data, when taking samples (e.g. from data sets, transactions or controls) or when detecting anomalies / Responsible for the development and integration of innovative, data-driven audit approaches or for collaborating on AI projects related to the further development of business intelligence within Group Audit / Close collaboration primarily with auditors, but also with Compliance or Risk Management / Collaboration on training initiatives to promote data analytics awareness / Collaboration on pilot or ad hoc projects.

Qualifikation

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Econometrics or Statistics / Professional experience in a bank and knowledge of its processes and specific characteristics / Experience in data analysis for internal audit or risk management / Interest in working with ETL processes and data pipelines to extract data from various sources and convert it into a standardized format / Experience in working with databases, data analysis tools, dashboards and reporting / Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and SQL / Experience in data visualisation, e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, an advantage / Interest in generating meaningful data from various databases for internal audit projects / Ability to derive precise insights from structured and unstructured data / Analytical mindset with an eye for detail / Team-oriented and cooperative / Open-mindedness and a high degree of trustworthiness and integrity for working with confidential data / Fluent in German and English.
