Technical writers plan, create, and maintain educational content as an integral part of the engineering or user experience. The content is often in the form of documentation, but may also be UI text, sample code, videos, or other educational material. - Plan, research, write, and maintain quality technical documentation for external developer audiences, including Application Programming Interface (API) references, how-to guides, conceptual documents, and code samples for the Merchant API.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, User Experience (UX) researchers, and other stakeholders across the Commerce Merchant organization to gather information, understand user needs, and ensure technical accuracy.
- Edit, clarify, and proof-read documents and coach non-writers to improve their writing skills.
- Work with a global team of engineers, product teams, content strategists, and other technical writers.
