Your Job
This awaits you on your journey with us:
- Responsible for the entire Hotel Operations, supervising and coordinating the service, galley, hotel inventory controlling and administration departments
- Cooperation with Shore Side Management: all activities pertaining to the professional management of the hotel operation, hotel related policies, standards and procedures, cost and budget control, service and vacation schedules for the hotel department
- Implementation, maintenance and improvement of the quality standards and adherence of all relevant hygiene (HACCP), safety and environmental regulations
- Responsibility for the careful handling of all equipment and machinery in the entire hotel operations
- Contact person for passengers regarding inquiries, complaints and suggestions in the entire hotel operations
- Motivating staff, paying attention that service is to carried out in a friendly, competent manner
- Planning, organising, delegating special functions in the hotel operations
Your course & your talents
Here's what you bring on board:
- Qualified training and professional diploma in the hotel- or gastronomy sector
- Several years practical experience in hotel operations (or internal qualification)
- Experience in managing complaints
- Negotiation-safe knowledge of English language as well as a good general education
- Quality of leadership, assertiveness, flexibility and organisational talent, capable of motivation
- Self-assured, pleasant and calm manner towards staff and passengers, well-groomed appearance
- Cost and quality awareness
