Position overview
The Project Manager, MedTech Supply Chain Transformation will be responsible for managing specific global Supply Chain projects as well as supporting governance, analytics and reporting of the global SC transformation portfolio. The project manager will coordinate cross-functional efforts with all operational and functional leaders across multiple Business Units (BU) and regions to drive successfully delivery of key initiatives. He/she will lead different phasis of project from diagnostics to analytic modeling of alternatives and deployment of new solutions. He/she will report on a regular basis progress and risks to the fulfilment of financial targets and strategic commitments of the assigned projects.
The Project Manager scope of responsibilities includes specifically:
Be responsible for the timeline and KPIs of given projects. Identify critical paths, roadblocks and risks, offer solutions, and flag any risks in timely manner to ensure project goals are achieved.
Analyze defined processes and standards and develop improvements proposal, including creation of associated business case as well as deployment and change management plans.
Provide advance analytics and solution modeling on given transformational projects.
Collaborate with functions, BU, regions and center to ensure the implementation of approved projects in key markets across the regions. Recommend alternative plans as needed to deliver the project objectives.
Facilitate stakeholder inputs and alignment during business case creation and deployment plan.
Track and communicate project status including project meeting minutes, dashboards and financials.
Lead a few strategic project from project definition to deployment.
Supporting role in transformational projects in the area of analytics, milestones tracking and financial reconciliation with the functions, BU and regions.
Conduct a baseline assessment and modeling of alternatives on given transformation areas.
Develop sensitivity analysis and alternative/options modeling to assemble business case with the project team.
Support creation of business case with the project team.
Tracking and communication of projects status.
Financials reporting and Planisware coordination with stakeholders and finance.
Engagement with multifunctional partners.
External engagement and benchmarking.
Qualifications & Experience
Strong level of understanding of the Supply Chain processes and their adjacencies along the full product life cycle.
5+ years of prior work experience in a Supply Chain environment.
Project management skills or hands on experience of coordinating cross-functional teams.
Experience in managing project portfolio and associated governance processes.
Ability to work independently, manage complexity and take ownership for deliverables.
Experience leading process improvements and/or change management programs.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) with ability to manage peer and senior stakeholders.
Numerate and IT literate.
Experience with Planisware at regional and/or global level.
Multi-country and Multi sector experience preferred.
