Position overview

The Senior Project Manager will report directly to the Director, Transformation Programs as a part of the MedTech Supply Chain Digital organization. This role and will support the Project Management Office (PMO) activities as part of the Transcend Transformation Program, a series of highly complex, multi-year business and technology transformation initiatives.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for shaping and influencing PMO related activities for their respective program.

• Establish PMO cadence, mechanics, and day-to-day program methodology across all workstreams.

• Partner closely with the overall transformation deployment lead and deployment managers to ensure appropriate communication of key interdependencies, risks, and performance metrics.

• Ensure interdependencies across programs are identified and managed appropriately.

• Active member of the global PMO and share the responsibility of making the overall effort a success. You will bring in your thought leadership, holistic thinking, action orientation, creative problem solving, and listening skills.

• Ensure the project follows deployment standard methodologies and governance processes to ensure a quality solution is delivered on-time, on budget, and on-quality.

• Ensure the methodology is applied both in the development work but more broadly across the project, so that the drumbeat/rhythm is followed in all areas and by all teams on the project. Coach and train project team members on the overall project methodology as well as individual aspects of the specific project phases.

• Drive effective and consistent use of project management tools (e.g., Jira and MS Project).

• Identify, propose and implement improvements on existing project management tools and processes.

• May be responsible for supervising project team members.

Qualifications:

• Requires a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in leadership roles within Operations, Supply Chain, or large transformation programs.

• Requires a minimum of 3 years of Program Management experience on large complex business transformation programs.

• Strong knowledge of MedTech, Supply Chain or Commercial Operations.

• Demonstrated hands-on project management/delivery experience required with strong operations and supply chain experience.

• Requires excellent project management skills, influencing ability, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools.

• Strong customer focus (internal & external), including development and management of stakeholders.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and compellingly are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active project management, agile or scrum certification

• Experience with SAP and/or SAP implementations

• Travel required up to 25%.
