CoinMad.com is a buy/sell web-service founded by Kostas Organopoulos & Manos Koufakis in 2006.

The whole project, which went live in May 2009, was based on a unique idea of ecommerce in reverse, which was inspired by an article in a Greek magazine.

CoinMad is the first webpage that suggests this way of reverse shopping. Everyone can sell or buy with the usual way or with the reverse way we suggest, which is something like a money auction!

Amounts of money are auctioned by the buyers and the items/services which are suggested automatically by the merchants/sellers are the bids.
