Drewberry Income Protection is an independent insurance intermediary providing advice and insurance broking services in the income protection market.

The firm brokers both short-term and long-term income insurance, which provide a monthly benefit (as a proportion to gross income) should the policyholder suffer illness or injury.

Long-Term Cover

With Long-Term Income Protection plans it is possible to insure between 50 to 65 per cent of gross earnings all the way up until your planned retirement. For office based workers it is usually possible to cover earnings from your 'own occupation'.

Short-Term Cover

Short-Term Income Protection plans (also known as accident and sickness insurance) can cover up to 65 per cent of earnings for up to 12 or 24 months. With these plans it is also possible to include redundancy protection.

Self-Employed Cover

Drewberry has a very large number of clients who are company directors and self-employed. Many of these individuals used to work for large companies where they received sick pay and income protection as an employee benefit.
