Our mission is to promote excellence in the field of intelligent systems and enhance efficiency of our business partners by means of artificial intelligence.

Data Science: Our team members have long-lasting experience and expertise in the use of ML and AI in data science, with comprehensive knowledge of the related mathematical foundations. Using data analytics to preprocess and visualise data, working on image processing to recognise different patterns, natural language processing to semantically characterize and classify text, developing prediction and estimation models for stock prediction and patent value rankings, as well as extracting information from complex brain signals, are all part of our portfolio.

Autonomous Vehicles: ISH is involved in the ‘COMET K2 Digital Mobility/Context-Embedded Vehicle Technologies - Program project, which has more than a hundred industrial and academic partners (e.g., Volkswagen, Audi AG, Mercedes Benz, Magna, AVL, Infenion, Simens AG, Bosch, MAN ). Our expertise ranges from dealing with perception uncertainties and data processing, to distributed control of heavy-duty trucks platooning. We also exploit and implement deep learning algorithms in every field of interest, including autonomous vehicle guidance. We are currently developing a framework for autonomous racing cars, based on deep neural networks.

Robotics and Control: Our experience involves an extensive use of control and motion planning algorithms for different types of dynamic systems, such as unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned ground vehicles. Some of our team members have also developed and are continuously working on novel theoretical frameworks, such as optimal control of nonlinear systems based on reinforcement learning and sampling-based motion planning algorithms used in robotics. Optimal control, robust control, model predictive control, and sampling-based motion planning, are just some of the tools from our portfolio, with which we address different control and planning problems in robotics.

Embedded Systems: We have an engineering team whose members have more than 10 years of experience in designing, prototyping, simulation and testing of embedded systems. Our potfolio includes working with IoT devices with cloud-based backend services, firmware design, development of digital and analog filters, FPGA development, as well as PCB. We design embedded systems based on the products provided by NVIDA, ST Microelectronics, Intel, Microchip, Atmel as well as Texas Instruments.
