Mary Sears holds a doctorate and has experience raising seven children of her own. She has honed and refined her procedures for creating the optimal learning environment for children.

Mary Sears Children’s Academy provides a nurturing and safe indoor environment. Facilities have spacious, clean rooms, with extra-large windows allowing in abundant natural light. Twice daily, warm and nutritious meals, as well as healthy snacks, ensure that no child is hungry. Every child is unique, and Mary Sears Children’s Academy offers a wide range of instructional programs geared to different styles of learning, from writing and computers to music and languages. The academy believes in variable modes of teaching, because some children learn better by illustration and some learn better by verbal instruction. Mary Sears Children’s Academy accommodates all styles of learning.

Expansive, 3-acre playgrounds at Mary Sears Children’s Academy allow each child the freedom to run, play, and explore nature in a secure setting. Happy children make better learners, and giving children access to nature stimulates curiosity and improves learning. Deliberately alternating instructional time with playtime further accentuates the learning process. At Mary Sears Children’s Academy, each student is given personal care and provided with love and understanding. Additionally, parents are actively engaged with their children’s learning experience at Mary Sears Children’s Academy. The academy provides daily progress reports, and regular parent-teacher conferences encourage parental involvement.
