Proximity Panels operates as a real transparent platform which enables the “best of local players” to act as a supplier on a European/global level with respect to the specific local companies, their panel brands and their local approaches by offering them control, quality re-assurance from partnering sampling vendors at the best pricing possible, transparency based on a win-win business model.

Proximity Panels’ goal is to make sure that all the quality & pricing compliant team members can operate on an international level both as a supplier and as a buyer (for own clients) faster, cheaper, more efficient, with respect for its panel members and its clients. Proximity Panels offers them and their clients a one stop shopping for international projects.

Proximity Panels strives to be able to offer the biggest supply in qualitative local online access panels that can reflect the different populations by maintaining state-of-the art sampling methods. Each member reassures that top quality standards will be guaranteed and is crucial for being a member & that one of the basic DNA elements of Proximity Panels is quality. The key consequence of this is that all members without any exception need to be able to deliver substantial qualitative, representative samples.

All members maintain competitive price-settings: Price-settings will be monitored, benchmarked with competitors and audited by third parties.

Proximity Panels is a concept which is in line with ‘think global, act local’. ‘Proximity’ both to the panel members’ culture and to clients. This implicates that a panel is managed locally. Being a member of Proximity Panels means that the member is chosen as the official preferred supplier for samples in the region that the panel covers. The acceptance of the membership will be based on official pricing and quality standards that the network maintains and that were agreed on by all the members and benchmarks all partner with. Being a member means that the member is in line with the technical requirements concerning business scope, quality & pricing in order to reassure the quality & pricing label of Proximity Panels.

The Proximity Panels’ Business Model focuses on transparency & honesty: clear-cut competitive pricing levels. Next to that the business model is based on an honest division of the turnover in relation to ones contribution.

Preferred parties of Proximity Panels are panels, not companies. This implicates that although one regional panel of a company might have been approved by Proximity Panels’ standards this doesn’t implicate that every panel is allowed automatically. Each and every regional panel has to pass the Proximity Panels standards. As a consequence, a sampling provider that runs multiple panels might have some panels that are accepted and some that aren’t accepted. The exclusivity rule only goes for Proximity Panels’ approved panels.

Proximity Panels is objective & neutral. Selection of all PP members is based on objective quality & pricing criteria.No member can rely on membership only to claim quality. Next to that, each PP member has the right to sell or buy samples to/from other international projects from third parties. One only can claim to act as a preferred supplier for Proximity Panels if one indeed fully complies with the Proximity Panels’ standards. Proximity Panels wants to make sure that its members WANT to work together. This only can be established if and just if its members are in line with the expectations. Members will be able to stay members as long as they fit with the criteria.

Proximity itself is a crucial USP. Proximity to the panel members’ culture and to the clients. This implicates that the business scope of the partners of Proximity Panels is that the company owns national/regional research panels. A national/regional research panel is defined as: a locally managed panel in one country or 1 region only which makes all local players complementary to one another. Each panel that’s part of PP will be managed from a local office. Clients will be able to contact local representatives (local panel managers, local accounts, …) so that the clients receive full control and transparent communication will be guaranteed.
