An der Peripherie der traditionsreichen Waffenstadt Suhl gelegen, eingebettet in das Grün des Thüringer Waldes und dennoch nur wenige Minuten von den Autobahnen 71 / 73 entfernt, ist unser Schießsportzentrum Suhl Olympia-, Bundes- und Landesstützpunkt. Die 27 Hektar große Sportanlage bietet zahlreiche Trainingsstände im Bereich aller olympischen und etlicher nicht-olympischen Schießdisziplinen. Wir blicken auf 50 Jahre erfolgreichen Schießsport als Ausrichter von Welt- und Europameisterschaften, World Cups und unzählige nationale Wettkämpfe zurück. Auf unserer weltoffenen Sportstätte trainieren internationale wie nationale Kaderschützen neben Vereinsschützen und Jägern. Auch gewerbliche Büchsenmacher und Jagdschulen begrüßen wir regelmäßig auf unserer Anlage, ebenso finden Firmenevents namhafter Unternehmen bei uns statt. Seit Herbst 2016 verwaltet die Schießsportzentrum Suhl (SSZ) GmbH die seit 1971 im internationalen Spitzensport renommierte Trainings- und Wettkampfstätte.

--- Located on the outskirts of the traditional arms town of Suhl, embedded in the green of the Thuringian Forest and yet only a few minutes away from the highways 71/73, our shooting sports center Suhl is an Olympic, International and National professional sports center. The 27 hectare sports facility offers numerous training stands for all Olympic and several non-Olympic shooting disciplines. We look back on 50 years of successful shooting sports as the host of World and European Championships, World Cups and countless national competitions. At our cosmopolitan sports facility, international and national cadre shooters train alongside club shooters and hunters. We also regularly welcome commercial gunsmiths and hunting schools to our facility, as well as corporate events for well-known companies. Schießsportzentrum Suhl (SSZ) GmbH has been managing the training and competition facility since autumn 2016, which has been renowned in top international sport since 1971.
