Shanghai CIMIC Tile Co., Ltd established in 1993 and joint venture by China and Britain. With its total registered investment of 285 million RMB, covering an area of 467000m2 and equipped by worlds advanced Italian facilities, CIMIC is a one of the largest tile manufacturers in China. CIMIC produces and sales many series of high-end porcelain tiles and ceramic tiles - about 1000 kinds of porcelain tile with 10 specifications in 15 series. The water absorption of porcelain tiles is only 0.07%, and the abrasion resistance and flexion strength are all above the national and international standards.

CIMIC products have been authenticated by the international standard of ISO9002 in 1997, by the international standard of ISO9001 and ISO14000 in 2003. They have also passed the CE authentication in 2006. With national patents, more than 30 kinds of CIMIC tile products have passed the “ 3C Authentication” on national level.
