The Swiss Chemical Society focuses on

· Scientific meetings, congresses and courses to assist, inform and educate the community in all

fields of pure and applied chemistry including economical, ecological and social perspectives

· Awards for outstanding contributions in a wide range of chemical fields

· Representation of interests of Swiss scientists in national and international organizations

· Publications like CHIMIA, Helvetica Chimica Acta and the journals of ChemPubSoc

The SCS is member of the International Union of Applied and Pure Chemistry (IUPAC) and the

European Association for Chemical and Molecular Sciences (EuCheMS).
