Who we are:

TXT is a recently established bamboo processing- as well sustainable agriculture researching and developing company.

What we do:

· Bamboo-/ cottages, -shelters, -kiosk, -chairs, -tables

· Products from bamboo sawdust such as plaster and cooking stoves briquettes- uncarbonized and carbonized

· Partial active bamboo charcoal in different shapes, packed in bamboo baskets or in carton boxes, bamboo charcoal powder as deodorizer etc

· New locally introduced varieties of life stock and crops for higher produce and value, given and sold to local farmers

· Assistance and courses in new/ rediscovered sustainable farming practices to farmer associations and local farmers directly

· (in development) Eco-tourism education tours through bamboo forests and workshops, trekking, Ma river tour

· (in development) Bamboo bungalows beside Ma river – bamboo rafting, fishing, swimming, trekking

· (in development) International bamboo training courses- activities depend on season; harvest, propagation, preservation, construction etc.

Where we are:

The company is located in the mountain area of Thanh Hoa (northern central land of Vietnam)in the heart of a 70’000 ha bamboo plantation which ensures the steady supply of raw material for bamboo businesses in the area. Other existing bamboo businesses in the area are paper and pulp-, chopstick-, panel- and basket production.

Our advantages:

As there are mainly raw and prefabricated products made in Quan Hoa we are the first company in the region offering higher value products. As we have the factory right at the source we can offer our clients a comparable cheap price and we will always be aware in advance if there may be any shortages in supply.

We can provide higher and steady income jobs to peasants as well contribute to a sustainable local economy.

Our aim:

We continually try to improve variety and quality of our products. Beside our existing models we would like to encourage clients and investors to offer assistance in new products. Those who are interested in creating a bamboo business are welcomed to cooperate with us.

We are also always looking for experienced “bambuleros” or farmers who voluntarily would lead an international or local training course on our site.
