WethicA aims to help its customers to manage the working condition in which their goods are produced.
Our main approach is the one of the risk management, and not the one of a constraint to get rid of as quick as possible. Factories in Asia are far from compliant to international standards in term of social accountability especially, but still they are unavoidable suppliers. Thus a proper management approach allow to avoid the worst factories and limit the risk when paper work only is useless as it can't protect your company and the workers.
To help our customers in this management, we have 3 main tools:
Factory assessment, also known as audit, to gather actual information on the factory and assess strength and weakness to allow a comparison with similar factories.
Training / Advising of buying office or head office staff to allow a better use of the gathered information, and thus a better management of the risk level.
Training / Advising of factory to help them in their improvement to reach your requirements and avoid the major risks.
These 3 tools are always performed on your company behalf. Thus you are always the sole addressee of all the report and gathered information. Confidentiality is ensured. Moreover, it strengthen the link between your company and the supplier. Finally it avoid conflict of interest as the interest of WethicA is only yours.
