Youth Initiative for the Srednogorie Region is a voluntary non-governmental organization for realization of socially useful activity, in accordance with the orders of the Law statute for juridical individuals with non-economic purpose and the approved charter.

The goals of the organization are:

· To work for the cultural, social and economic integration of the Bulgarian society in the European Union;

· To prepare and realize local, regional and national projects and programs, directed to Euro integration of the society;

· То approve and stand up for the civil community rights;

· To assist and stimulate initiatives in the sphere of human rights protection, environment, education, health services and sport;

· To give conditions for personal, social and professional realization of the young people;

· To afford an opportunity for open discussions about all problems from social interest and to help in their solving.

The organization follows the previously pointed goal as:

· Raising funds from membership due, endowments, realization of economic activity, related by the subject of the main activity, as well as assimilation of financial resources;

· Preparing and realization of projects and programs;

· Organization of activities for raising funds and popularization of our activity;

· Carrying out common initiatives with the representative of the local and state power authorities;

· Co-opеration and experience exchange with common non governmental organizations.

The activity of YOUTH INITIATIVE FOR THE SREDNOGORIE REGION is not tied to territory; still it is concentrated upon the region surrounding the former town of Srednogorie that currently comprises of the municipalities of Anton, Mirkovo, Zlatitsa, Pirdop, Chavdar and Chelopech.
