User Experience | Strategic Design | Industrial Design Orthopedic surgery is dangerous, for the surgeon! Tool failures belong to the ten most frequent causes of operation delays. Nowadays, hospitals are pressured to optimize procedures and lower costs. Could the evolution of a surgical power tool be used in these scenarios to ease and support the surgeon's work, increase the efficiency and flexibility of usage and at the same time offer more control and knowledge about the condition of the tools?

I worked as an Industrial Designer at Veryday / McKinsey Company with a focus on User-Experience. In the healthcare and service sector, I worked together with a team on forward-thinking projects to find answers where the customer´s specific business is heading, and which challenges their products and services needs to be adapted on in the next years. I created user journeys and value proposition canvases to highlight our insights.

I worked as an Industrial Designer at Whipsaw. I delivered analytical thinking and meaningful concepts to their customers in the consumer electronics and healthcare sector. Through field researches, I analyzed specific needs of their users and designed suitable concept solutions, build mock-ups and presented the result to their clients.

- Conception and illustration of ideas. Creation and participation of presentations. - Assistance and participation on a co-creation workshop - Preparation of design patent drawings - Creation and adapting of product graphics - Market research and taking part in idea-finding workshops

- Conception and presentation of a design family consisting of an oven, hub and cooker hood. - Management of a model-making process from an oven. Building plan preparation, coordination between model-makers, electrician and print shop. - Planning and implementation of a creativity workshop for the whole design team. - Conception, CAD-Modelling, illustration, model making and presentation of 9 different induction cookers with the Bosch key design elements.
