Research Assistance at the CITEC Bielefeld, Department of Neurocognition and Movement. Occupation: Programming an interface in ‘Presentation’ for the synchronisation of Eye-tracking and EEG.

Planning, programming, conducting and analyzing an experiment on the effect of occular induced EEG artifacts. This work was embedded into a project aiming to enable patients with a locked-in syndrome to communicate via brain waves. The internship additionally comprised of conducting other experiments on patients in early stages of ALS.

This internship was in the neuropsychology department of the Clinic of Osnabrück, Germany, which treated various mental health issues. My responsibilities included carrying out different neuropsychological tests and conducting training to maintain and improve cognitive performances with neurological impaired patients.
