- Drive delivery of global MidCorp strategy - Prepare MidCorp specific forums of strategic relevance - Support annual business planning process and quarterly business reviews - Orchestrate Strategic and Planning activities - Supervise analysis of the MidCorp portfolio, market situation and AZ market position - Develop strategic analytics, tools and insights - Identify underlying portfolios issues & opportunities - Work with Regions to drive growth opportunities and segmentation

- Work together with MidCorp business area to support business steering and monitoring - Sparring partner to senior management in steering the business from a Finance perspective - Develop and implement standard reports, tools to monitor/steer performance - Independently analyse business performance of portfolios and business initiatives - Monitor and integrate the strategic business initiatives into the financial plans - Develop performance measures to track and steer the MidCorp segment financials

- Validating OE Midcorp plans including considerations regarding underlying assumptions/performance - Monitor implementation and impact of allocated OE action plans - Identify (underlying) issues to recommendations options for improvement including growth - Participate/consult with allocated OEs/Regions through the Hubs with pre PD/SD, planning, business control cycle (deep dives) - Liaise with stakeholders to come up with practical solutions/recommendations to improve portfolio performance

Work together with MidCorp business area on regular and ad-hoc requests to support business steering and monitoring Act as a sparring partner to senior management and support the CFO/Head of MidCorp in steering the business from a Finance perspective Develop and implement standard reports, tools, etc to monitor and steer performance Monitor and integrate the strategic business initiatives into the financial plans Lead cross-functional and international projects related to MidCorp activities

- Support Chief Regions & Markets Officer in all relevant topics, especially preparation and follow-up of Board Meetings, Regional CEO Meetings & resulting action items, performance management related topics, review and support for business cases for Regions & Markets - Work on ongoing CRMO-related and Broker-related topics & projects. Support One Allianz initiative, sales planning and reporting - Manage central CRMO and Region CEE cost centers: Support planning & expense management for CRMO I

Responsible for all controlling activity in the Region, especially with regards to - Financial Reporting - Performance Management - Financial Planning - Cost Planning, Cost Reporting - Business case reviews

- Global controller for Line of business Liability - Coordinationg and facilitating the global planning process - Global Financial reporting tasks to the Global Line of business Head - Acting as Financial consultant to the business - Review of business cases - Cost planning and reporting - Adhoc requests
