Ankit is currently working as Research Associate in the field of deep reinforcement learning for traffic flow modelling at TU Dresden. Ankit has completed masters from Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) in Transportation Engineering with "K Devrajan Memorial Prize" for student with best academic record, while doing master's he was awarded with fellowship from DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) to get research exposure and completion of masters thesis at TU Dresden. He has completed bachelors in Civil Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technology Institute (VJTI Mumbai). Ankit has previously worked as Product Specialist in Digital Lending at Axis Bank.

For identification of following regimes and leader-follower pairs different ML techniques such as Random Forest, XGBoost, Knn and Ensemble method for classification are used and Optimization is done by using genetic algorithm.
