Hit the ground running in a new language and framework, making contributions to G2’s customer-facing web application after just one week of learning and orientation. Coded, tested, and deployed over 25 new features to production in both Ruby and JavaScript. Led weekly algorithm practice as a fun learning activity for engineers and non-engineers alike.

Managed 14 student projects, guiding architectural decisions and providing feedback in office hours and daily stand-up meetings. Led workshops covering algorithms, data structures, system design, and other topics. Clarified coding concepts and extensively debugged student code in over 100 help tickets.

Founded Girls Who Code and Gaming electives for students, teaching coding basics and encouraging them to pursue a career in tech. Performed troubleshooting and repair on over 1,000 student and staff computers, 8 printers and varied audiovisual equipment, managing assets with Google Admin and GoGuardian. Earned the monthly staff-voted award five times for resolving urgent IT issues during class.

Created a new system for easily recording and sharing contact information of potential new clients and scheduling reaching out to them regarding their cases, resulting in a 50% increase in successful follow-ups. Created spreadsheets to organize large amounts of data for use by attorneys.

Taught babies, children, and adults how to swim, specializing in helping those with anxiety feel comfortable in the water with basic safety skills. Used Excel to make and update spreadsheets tracking swimmers’ progress through the program.

Cared for a large number of dogs, maintaining their meal and rest schedules and keeping their environment clean and orderly. Provided highly personalized customer service to the dog parents, from following complex care instructions to the letter, to sending photos and stories of the dog's activities during longer overnight stays.
