• Explored scope and feasibility of algorithmic modeling for the generation of nature-inspired cell grid stiffening structures to aid distortion-free creation of additive-manufactured metal parts for the Testing of High Tech Objectives in Reality (THOR) Programme. • Researched on the incorporation of manufacturing process simulation tools into the design framework for parts generated using laser beam melting.

• Completed a research project on Digital Factory Design, developing a Virtual Reality-integrated Performance Indicator Dashboard to aid factory planners.

• Provided project management support to the development of a Dynamic Production Performance Reporting System based on SAP Business Intelligence (BI-4) for the A380 Programme. • Supported creation and deployment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on production processes of the Airbus A380 aircraft family. • Performing follow-up and tracking of aircraft Final Assembly Line (FAL) production status including Outstanding work (OSW), Non-Conformities (NC) and Milestone Planning Adherence.

• Got trained on, practiced and utilized the Agile Scrum Project Management methodology to accelerate management of performance reporting activities. • Completed a fast-track training programme on the usage of SAP® BusinessObjects™ Business Intelligence (BI-4) for performance reporting. • Analyzed and improved the data acquisition and workflow for the generation of performance reports on the follow-up and tracking of aircraft Final Assembly Line (FAL) production status.

• Tutored lecture sessions (laboratory exercises) on Computer Aided Design and Computation. • Continued extended support for 3-D CAD modeling using PTC® Creo® (from the previous job).

• Designed and developed 3-D CAD (PTC® Creo®) models to aid research on pressure vessels for C-IMAGE, a Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative project in association with the TUHH. • Created prototypes and accessory components using additive manufacturing technologies.

• Devised PTC® Pro/ENGINEER® and AutoCAD® for concept development, part modelling and creation of production drawings for a projection welding fixture assembly to weld fuel tank holding brackets. • Implemented the idea using Quality Control (QC) Story approach in the production assembly line.

• Created a framework for implementing Lean manufacturing in the machining and assembly section of the horizontal open-well submersible product line using the Value Stream Mapping technique. • The work was published in the International Journal of Services and Operations Management by Inderscience Publishers, Geneva, Switzerland.
