Software tool development for Laser Additive Manufacturing process, Development of Graphical User Interface (GUI) as a tool of AM software. Robot code generation with KUKA robotic Language (KRL syntax).

Tasks: • Literature research on data pre-processing in Additive Manufacturing (in particular, Direct Energy Deposition) • Research and investigation of existing commercial AM software for DED process • Development and Implementation of Software-tool for hatching strategies and path planning using Matlab • Software testing through fabrication of demonstrator components (with Robot-based LMD system)
