Led the end-to-end feature analysis and gap assessment of the QuickBooks Online (QBO) custom in-house developed CRM system and accompanying support websites including all Third Party applications and QBO product integrations as compared to the functions and features of the enterprise applications platform at Intuit. Helped define and promote migration planning recommendations for moving the global QBO business onto the enterprise applications platform for all CRM related functions and features.
End-to-end software engineering responsibility and system domain ownership for all aspects of online SaaS application development including, but not limited to application framework, data model and data dictionary definition and compliance, system architecture and security, system performance and integrations, data center migrations, user interfaces and experience, web analytics, A/B testing and XHTML compliance. Consistently utilizing Agile principles and practices for all software development activities.
Responsible for all software engineering development, software quality engineering and assurance as well as all software and application lifecycle management activities from concept inception to solution delivery including release process and project management, post-release audits and ongoing support through a SaaS delivery model for all in-house and Third Party ERP and CRM agent- and customer-facing solutions including all marketing, sales and support websites for the QuickBooks Online business unit.
Managed the Business Systems Analyst team responsible for TurboTax and corporate IT systems and initiatives including on-boarding the TurboTax and Quicken businesses onto the enterprise applications platform at Intuit, replacing custom applications used for tax forms development with a BPM system plus many other IT systems and projects such as tax season systems readiness preparations. Partnered across org boundaries to ensure successful results in an extremely time sensitive, highly dynamic environment.
Led the successful integration of the Intuit Construction Business Solutions business unit onto the enterprise applications platform (Siebel CRM, Oracle 11i ERP and PeopleSoft HRMS) on time, within budget and in adherence to both business unit and corporate specifications. Created and championed the template for all new business integrations. Drove COGS reduction and packaging improvements initiatives for QuickBooks retail CD manufacturing operations with estimated annual cost savings of more than $1MM.
