Carlos Egea Pelayo

I am developing hardware for transportation applications. My job involves working with Xilinx FPGAs using ISE and integrated circuits for PLC communications.

Here at Zoovel Technologies my work consists of fast prototyping. I am improving my analog and digital electronics design skills and learning about programming Android apps.

My first task was to develop some Labview applications for testbench equipment. After that I was allowed to stay around learning and helping with some research projects. Here I am learning about piezoelectricity and ultrasound techniques.

This was my first working experience as an electronic engineer intern. What I value most about this time is what I learnt from my colleagues. The task I was ask was to develop an interface between an FPGA and an USB 3.0 controller. During this time I learnt about VHDL design, microprocessors and capturing electronic schematics along with the manufacture process of the PCB.

I worked part time during my studies. The experience was very positive as it allowed me to get it touch with different people.
