In charge of all Strategic sourcing decision as well as Inventory Management and other Supply Chain improvements for all Service Solutions plants In the EMEA region, leading a team of 9 people, reporting into the President EMEA

One out of five Strategic Sourcing Managers leading all EMEA SPX Flow Technology Segment sourcing and supply chain optimization projects for 26 plants in the EMEA region. From November 2009 to October 2010 I had an additional task as interim Supply Chain Manager for one of the major SPX Flow Technology plants in Unna, leading a team of 5 people. Since January 2011 I had next to my EMEA Strategic Sourcing role global responsibility for injection molding, pressure vessels and tanks.

This position oversees all global activities related to procurement for assigned product lines, from intent to purchase through delivery. Products will range form commodities to fully assembled capital equipment. The Global Strategic Sourcing Manager reports directly into the VP Supply Chain Management. Responsibility for 3 European plants in Germany, The Netherlands and Ireland. Lead of all major EE sourcing projects, supplier consolidation programmes, Inventory management and more.

Strategic buyer based within central purchasing for injection molding for the region of Europe. Responsible for the OEM’s Volvo, Ford, as well as Lead buyer for about 12 key suppliers with a total Turnover of 64 Mio Euro. Responsibility includes global strategy formulation, search and selection of key supplier (focus LCC), request for quotation, quotation analysis and comparison, supplier selection and nomination, savings generation (6% on total TO), VA / VE activities, Kaizen workshops at supplier plant,

Buyer within the B2xx cost reduction team based in Cologne and Dunton as commercial contact between engineering and supplier. Cost reduction studies mainly based on VA / VE engineering changes or supplier location and the approach towards the supplier to realize the savings potentials.
