As Qwest CIO, Cliff Dodd led a 9-person senior staff, 6K+ employees in IT and billing operations, and managed a $1.2B operating budget.

    Recruited to join the CEO’s executive leadership team and moved into a new industry undergoing significant transformation. Cliff Dodd was given full autonomy to lead change management initiatives that for the first time would bring together disparate operations and systems into a single cohesive structure capable of supporting multiple service offerings and rapid growth. Based on success, Cliff Dodd was promoted to Ameritech CIO overseeing upwards of 5K employees and $1.3B annual budget.
