    Carrie Shulman MD is a Board Certified and Award Winning Neurosurgeon specializing in Adult Cerebrovascular and Edoscopically minimally invasive neurosurgery. Carrie Shulman MD is a pioneer and tier-one practitioner of minimally invasive techniques in the United States. In 2005, Carrie Shulman MD became the first female neurosurgeon in the military to complete her training at the prestigious Walter Reed Medical Center (Army). In 2009 she served in as the Neurosurgical Director in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

At completion of the rigorous program, Carrie Shulman MD made history by earning the distinction of being the first female neurosurgeon in military history to be successfully trained by the US Army.
