I'm a qualified actuary with over ten years of experience within Capital Modelling; with a particular focus on Model development. I am interested in exploring other areas within the actuarial space to give me wider exposure. Prior to the Pandemic, I was fortunate to have spent two years seconded to Japan to working in our Head Office in Tokyo. I am now looking for an opportunity to work in Germany, aber ich spreche jetzt nur noch ein bisschen Deutsch. My aim is to be based in Frankfurt; but I believe it's important to spend time with colleagues in person, so would be looking for flexibility around where and how I work.

Currently working with the MS ABS Service organisation to provide Capital Modelling support to the three Insurance entities. Managing a team of three to assist the entities achieve their strategic goals; whether that be major model changes for Lloyds, a platform change, IMAP, or simply streamlining the legacy Group model to ensure it is fit for purpose.

Various roles in each of the R&D, AUL (Syndicate) and AAG (Swiss) teams. Over these early years in my actuarial career I learnt how to use Igloo, submitted multiple LCM and LCR forms to Lloyds, SST submissions to FINMA, completed Rating Agency and PRA surveys, and supported model use. Over this period the Internal Model transitioned from a black box taking over 36 hours to run, to a fundamental part of the business. Over this period I helped champion model use, with a particular focus on RI optimisation.

A ten week course offered by the IFOA in the UK. It provided an overview of the status to date, including the Kyoto and Paris agreements. Then looked at the disclosure requirements for companies and how scenario analysis can help companies in their strategic planning.
