Dipl.-Ing. Daniela Schremser

In the Corporate Treasury team at Hilti, I am responsible for global Treasury processes and systems. My key topics are customer payments with credit cards and alternative payment methods. But I am also supporting outgoing payments and risk management. I am coordinating all PCI DSS obligations and activities for the Hilti Group, like self assessments (SAQs), performing internal assessments for our local entities. I am in close collaboration with our payment provider to provide excellent customer experience.

My passion for project management directed me to the PM office of Global IT at Hilti. I led several projects in different departments, like a new global e-Recruiting solution or a carrier integration in Japan. I developed and revised templates and guidelines for project management standards as well as held project management trainings. I worked closely together with Data Protection Officer to be ready for GDPR, in May 2018. I was a GDPR ambassador within Global IT and towards the business units.

In my first role at Hilti, I had my first professional touchpoints with cloud solutions and was sole responsible for rollouts of a new customer relationship management (CRM) tool to 8 emerging markets. Afterwards, I started with company profiles on social media, mobile apps development for iOS and Android. In October 2012 I managed rollouts of SAP Business ByDesign , a cloud-based ERP system, in several countries, e.g. Romania, Bulgaria, Baltics, Israel and supported the supply chain and repair processes.

During my studies of business informatics, I worked at the University of Vienna, Faculty of Computer Science. In my role, I was part of the project team for INNOTRAIN IT (Innovation Training IT Central Europe), where 12 partners from 6 different regions had the goal to provide trainings and process knowledge to SMEs to enable innovations. Our part was to provide meta modelling and IT service management expertise. The project was a great first experience to work with different partners on one common goal.

I started the work at the University of Vienna, Faculty of Computer Science as study assistent. I have been the main contact for students in our department. I was co-organisator of conferences, like WI2009 and KSEM2009 in Vienna. I have also organized excursions for students to conferences in the area of business informatics together with the Austrian Computer Society (OCG).

Emig Datenverarbeitungs GmbH helped me to gain first professional experience, where I could apply the learned knowledge during my studies and secondary school. My main tasks have been small VBA (visual basic fo applications) programs as well as data conversion tools.
