I am responsible for the heat treatments and quality control for porous ceramics department.. I deal of the study, design and manufacture of silicon carbide foams. Responsible of European projects (FP7), which SMARTEES, HELM and others. Use of high temperature furnaces for heat treatment of materials. The silicon carbide foams fields application are: porous burner application, aerospace structural application, catalysis application, solar radiation absorbers and for the extreme environments

Study, design and application of ceramic composite materials Carbon-Carbon, Carbon-SiC and SiC-SiC, mainly for aerospace applications, nuclear fusion, extreme environments. Study and use of the C.V.I. / C.V.D. furnace for infiltration chemistry of Carbon or SiC, PIP technique, forced filtration, infiltration of silicon. Materials for special applications (eg casting of Cu / W for components with high heat flow diverters for the nuclear fusion reactor ITER).

Stage at Prysmian Cables and Systems LTD (www.prysmian.com) (formerly Pirelli Cables and Systems) on logistics management and organization of the new company department production and packaging of the joints of medium voltage "Elaspeed." During the internship I was able to gain experience on the management of production data, forms on quality management and laboratory tests in the Faraday cage.

During university I did an internship period of about four months at the company Bisio Progetti (www.bisioprogetti.it) (industrial zone D3), preparations of injection molding machines, maintenance tasks mold and molding in white room

Bachelor degree in plastics engineering with a thesis " epoxy matrix laminated nanocomposites: synthesis, thermal properties and combustion behavior." Period thesis done at the Center for Engineering Plastics (from November 2004 to October 2005), after completing an internship
