Responsible for new product development and consultancy advice in areas of foreign direct investment, including social media, investor aftercare, and customer relationship management systems.

Policy research and advice on the following topics: • how governments can attract foreign direct investment (FDI) with investment promotion agencies (IPAs) • the promotion of industrial clusters, using both local and foreign investment

Gave course on the theory and practice of partnership. Examined public-private partnerships (PPP), new modes of governance, and the EU’s partnership principle. Cases examined included Hungarian motorway construction and the EU’s INTERREG programme.

Project experience includes: INTERREG III ex-post evaluation; Migrants and employment; CSR strategy for the Hilti Corporation. Other tasks include: design databases for data collection; co-ordinate junior researchers; serve as mentor for a junior, international researcher

Conducted research on public-private partnerships in Canada and Hungary. Cases explored: Hungarian M6 motorway (phase 2); Hungarian M0 motorway (east sector); Vancouver’s “Canada Line” subway; Vancouver’s “Olympic Village” project. Also supervised bachelor thesis on transparency in public-private partnerships in the Netherlands. Designed and taught day-long writing workshops as an Instructor for the Master of Environmental and Energy Management program and for colleagues.
