Develop and implement Model Predictive Control for a Photovoltaic Battery System. In this thesis, I developed a control strategy to regulate battery power during charging and discharging processes using predictions and measurements of PV power and load demand. It's objective is to shave peaks in grid power feed-in and consumption. I have also demonstrated the performance of my control strategy via experimental results.

Investigation of heat sinkless thermal energy harvesting techniques in large surface area industrial (oil and gas) pipes using Thermoelectric Generator and create a basis to compare other emerging heat sinkless thermal energy harvesting techniques. Tasks also include developing algorithm for implementation of the technology and validate the proposed concept with laboratory experiments.

Analog Hardware Circuit Development for current sensor based monitoring system of large synchronous motors .Tasks include study of Analog filters and design the appropriate type and order and simulation of the circuit in Spice. Later, PCB layout design in EAGLE and validation of the circuit by conducting measurement experiments and finally interfacing the circuit with the current sensors and the data acquisition unit. Design of Active Cell Voltage Balancing Circuit with power consumption less than 1 mA for cells in series and without the need of external power supply .This included study of different cell voltage balancing techniques and analytical description of the circuit conducting simulation in Spice.
