Diego Pais

I’m part of a cross-functional team working on new features for Bonial’s mobile apps. I collaborate closely with product owners and designers from the start of each initiative. As part of ongoing efforts to improve the architecture, I’m leading work on modularization, dependency injection, and testability across the app. My focus is on writing clean, scalable code and helping shape how we build and structure features long term.

Since starting my career as a freelancer, I’ve worked with startups and private clients from around the world on a wide range of projects—from mobile games to e-commerce apps. I enjoy solving real problems through clean, thoughtful solutions and always aim to deliver work that’s reliable, user-focused, and aligned with the client’s goals.

In recent years, I have also gained experience in developing React web applications for various companies. I have worked on a range of projects, including e-commerce platforms and other web applications. Through these experiences, I have developed a strong understanding of React, as well as expertise in front-end web development in general.

At December Labs, I worked closely with clients to understand their needs and shape technical solutions. I was involved in architecture decisions, feature planning, and day-to-day development. I also mentored junior developers, which helped me grow as a leader and improve how I share knowledge. It was a great experience both technically and personally, and I built strong relationships with clients and the team.

My responsibilities included designing and implementing new functionality, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. I collaborated with other developers and team members to ensure that projects were completed on time and met quality standards. Through my work, I gained expertise in Erlang development and built a strong foundation in functional programming.

As an IT-Specialist at IBM, I provided technical support to companies using IBM iSeries servers. I offered guidance on best practices and optimal use of the iSeries technology, as well as assistance with migrations and upgrades. I collaborated closely with team members to ensure that client needs were met and solutions were delivered effectively and efficiently.

I worked on a variety of mobile application projects using J2ME and iOS technologies. My responsibilities included developing and implementing code for various features and functionality, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. I collaborated closely with other team members, including senior developers and project managers, to ensure that projects were completed on time and met client expectations.
