Babelsberg is a seasonal theme park regarding movies and one of the most famous studios in Germany. Warner Bros. administered the Harry Potter section of the park. As a Retail Manager for Harry Potter, duties included people issues and technical issues such as redesigning the store front, administering employee schedules, as well as managing purchases.
Bertelsmann is one of the world’s largest media companies. As a team leader in the Facebook content review department, I led rotating groups of 25 - 35 persons. I saw my role as intermediary between team members, HR, and management. This included including training employees, setting goals, and monitoring my team member’s achievement. My management style was collaborative, nonetheless I take great satisfaction in achieving company targets and exceeding expectations of my peers.

During my time, I increased the customer base, established a set of relevant partnerships in the area.

Due to his absence, in practice I took over his responsibilities as Head of HR of a report of 1’000+ employees. As such, I managed the administrative team of 50 - 100 employees. My main responsibilities were to hire top executives, check payroll, administer forecasts and budgets, report at shareholder meetings, mediate employee conflicts, and head social media activities.
